Special Event! Neighborhood Watch Leadership Training and Police Communications Center Tour

On Thursday, June 25, 2015, Witter Ranch Community Alliance, your all-volunteer neighborhood association, is partnering with Sacramento Police Department in providing Witter Ranch residents an opportunity to tour our state-of-the-art police communications center. This is the facility where all of our city’s landline 911 calls are received and where all calls for police service are handled.

  • Meet communications center leadership and dispatchers
  • Learn how calls for police service are prioritized citywide
  • Observe actual calls for service handled in real time
  • Watch dispatchers in action on the radio

After the tour, Reserve Community Service Officer Barbara Falcon will present specialized training for Witter Ranch Community Alliance Neighborhood Watch Program zone leaders and anyone else from our neighborhood interested in participating in Neighborhood Watch within their respective zones. This is a customized training program catered to Witter Ranch residents in support of our effort to make Witter Ranch the most thoroughly and effectively covered Neighborhood Watch community in all of Natomas.

Dinner and snacks will be provided.
