WRCA Biking Club Neighborhood Bike Rides

Calling all Witter Ranch cyclists, young or mature! Come out and emjoy a leisurely bike ride with your neighbors.

We will meet up behind Orange Theory, introduce ourselves, and then shove off on one of our routes.

On Mondays throughout July, we will meet at 7:30 PM and ride the Neighborhood Park Tour route (shown below), discovering our neighborhood parks like Witter Ranch, Hummingbird, Red Tail Hawk and San Juan Reservoir, with perhaps a stop at one of the parks depending on youngers’ requests.

On Wednesdays throughout July unless otherwise noted, we will meet at 7:30 PM and ride the NP3 School route (shown below), a great way for kids and parents to get to know the safe route biking to NP3 middle school.

On Fridays throughout July unless otherwise noted, we will meet at 7:30 PM and ride the Natomas Marketplace route (shown below), with a stop at Walmart or Home Depot to run errands at those stores. Depending on traffic and time constraints, we may return the way we came rather than the longer route to the south.

On Saturdays, unless otherwise noted, will meet at 8:30 AM and ride the longer Fisherman’s Lake Recreation Trail route (shown below), with possibly a stop at Subway on the way.

Bring water bottles, some goodies for your own or to share, and a good spirit!

Helmets are required for all riders under 18 years old and encouraged for all others. Proper lighting is also required at night pursuant to California Vehicle Codes CVC 21201(d) and CVC 21201(e).
